It all Started When...
My name is Mike. I started this company on Dec 21, 2012. Its the day that life ended in a retail sales job and there became a rebirth in freedom and artistic expression. The company was originally called Mike's Carpentry & Flooring, and was reorganized on July 1 2016 into Plymouth Home LLC.
My intention was never to be in the flooring business. I actually went to art school. But art takes many different forms. And modern art is functional. What inspires me in a project is the challenge of the new, different, and unique. Every project we do is first to be done completely to manufacture spec. (or ANSI, or CTEF, etc..) All projects are not built for the now, but built to last. And because of this, we can warranty all of our work. I think my father told me one day, if you're not going to do something right, don't do it at all. And that mentality transferred into the company.
